Terms of Service
These Terms are an agreement between you and Md Mosharof Hossain, doing business as Applying Agent (“Applying Agent,” “we,” “us”). They govern the Applying Agent web app, the Mac desktop agent, and related clients. Applying Agent is not an employer, recruiter, or law firm.
Who can use Applying Agent
You must be at least 18 and using Applying Agent for a U.S. job search. You are responsible for your account and for keeping the Mac agent pairing secret private.
Authorization to apply
When you instruct Applying Agent to apply — including by turning on auto-apply — you appoint Applying Agent and the Mac agent as your limited agent for that application. The agent may navigate employer or ATS sites, create an applicant account, fill forms, upload a resume, use answers you saved, and submit the application.
By enabling auto-apply, you authorize Applying Agent to submit applications on your behalf; to use answers you saved and answers configured as defaults; to complete required application checkboxes on employer and ATS sites, including that employer’s terms, candidate privacy notice, and arbitration acknowledgments when the form requires them; and, when a job’s office location is missing or unclear, to answer yes to required commute-or-relocate questions so the application can proceed. A required box may be clicked even if a profile preference would leave an optional consent unchecked. You or the recruiter can correct a commute or relocation answer later. Applying Agent is intended for job applications. It is not intended to execute employment contracts, tax filings, or immigration filings. A required checkbox on an application may still be clicked so the application can be submitted. This authorization does not waive liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Your answers
You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, resume, work-authorization answers, and any EEO or other responses you save. Review saved answers when your situation changes.
Auto-apply
Auto-apply is optional. Enabling it is the authorization described above. You control whether it is on, your match-score floor, daily cap, and criteria. Turning it off may not cancel an application already in progress. We do not guarantee a match, a successful submit, an interview, or a job.
Employer and ATS sites
You must follow each employer’s and ATS provider’s rules. Some sites restrict automation and may block an account. You accept that risk when you direct Applying Agent to apply there.
Email and AI
IMAP email access is optional and only for employer verification codes. Optional AI features may use Groq (free scoring) or Anthropic (paid). Output can be wrong; you remain responsible for what is submitted.
No employment guarantee
Job listings and scores may be incomplete or outdated. Evaluate employers and offers yourself.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent allowed by law, Applying Agent’s total liability is the greater of amounts you paid us in the prior twelve months or US $100. California law governs, except where mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
